Hay Bale Hills – Plein Air Painting

3 Jun

This watercolor on Yupo paper came together quickly retaining its sketchy quality.  It is nice when that happens.  I finished Leela’s Barn and just turned around facing west in the same spot.  I liked how the terraced hills repeated the rolling shapes of the hay bales.  Also, Kat had set up to paint her hay bale in the corner which was just the right place for my composition.
